Sweden   2018   33 mins

Dir: Marko Kattilakoski

The traumatized private investigator, John Low, is on a mission to find an ancient occult book. On his way he has to deal with childhood memories, a broken marriage, a mad professor and a monster. Set in the 1930s, the film channels the work of H. P. Lovecraft to create a twisted noir horror drama.

Hackney Studio…(adv 18)

UK   2018   39 mins

Dir: Jonny Stearn

Wes is a body piercer from London trying to get away with murder. Murder which would be much easier if his quirky ghetto friends and shop customers stopped getting in his way. Immersed in alt-lifestyles and subcutures, the film is stylish and funny and marks the filmmakers as ones to watch.
